TECHNO DANCE COMPETITION RULES & GUIDELINES
Official rulebook document detailing theme interpretation (“The Evolution of Technology”), stage setup limits, audio track formats, prop rules, and judging rubrics for Guardians of the Groove 2026.
Technology has continuously evolved alongside humanity, transforming the way we live, communicate, work, travel, create and connect with the world.
Through dance, participants are invited to interpret this journey of technological evolution in their own creative way. The performance may explore how human ingenuity has progressed from simple discoveries and inventions to the sophisticated technologies of today and the possibilities of tomorrow.
Participants are free to choose their own storyline, technological milestones and creative interpretation. The focus should be on portraying change, progress and the impact of technology on human life through choreography, music, movement and visual storytelling.
Any dance form allowed.

Team Size: 5 to 15 Members per Team.
Institute: Inter-college allowed (No cross-college mix).
Registration Fee: ₹999 per Team.

RULES & JUDGING METRICS
Strict Prohibition on Cross-College Teams: Cross-college or non-college teams are strictly prohibited. All members of a team MUST belong to the exact same college/institute. Cross-college or non-college teams will face immediate disqualification and elimination.
Multiple Teams Allowed: Each college or institute is permitted to enter multiple separate teams for this event.
Mandatory Verification Documents: All performers must carry a valid physical College Student ID Card, Government Photo ID (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Passport), and an official Approval Letter / NOC from their college authority.
Maximum stage performance duration is 10 minutes (including stage setup and clearance).
Audio tracks must be submitted in MP3 format to the sound console at least 2 hours prior to performance.
Fire, water, or hazardous stage props are strictly prohibited for safety compliance.
